In addition, knowing that a student of Yoga is traveling to a mystical landscape and that such a travel has its risks, sage Valmiki provided the much-needed guidance to a person who seeks these higher levels of consciousness. This concept is the central theme of this book and, therefore, the name of this book is “Yoga Ramayan: A Travel Guide for a Yogi.”

Section 1 - Introduction to Framework of Energy-Consciousness
• Introduce Goddess Parvati as the energy, and Lord Shiva as the consciousness within our body. Introduce Muladhar Chakra at the base of spine as the home of the energy. Energy goes up from the Muladhar and the consciousness comes down from the Sahastrar.

Parag Gandhi puts very complex knowledge in a very simple and beautiful way. Im both an Ashtanga Yoga and Bhakti Yoga practitioner and this book has helped me trace a map with awesome concepts of were Im standing. I love how it brought understanding, thirst for more knowledge, humility and inspiration to continue in the path of becoming better and of coarse, inspiration of going deeper in the study of this beautiful gift to humanity called Yoga

As a Yoga practitioner, I've never thought about any co-relation between Yoga and Ramayana. This book
is a eye opener for me to understand Yoga and Ramayan together. Author must be having great knowledge in field of

This is an amazing book that captures the essence of our beliefs and existence. It scrutinizes the Ramayana with an intriguing perspective and helps us understand different characters more comprehensively. The relationship between our body and our spiritual environment becomes crystal clear and one can derive a lot of psychological and mental strength with a great sense of satisfaction. I have had an opportunity to talk to the author Parag Gandhe who reflects the beliefs that are laid out in each chapter of the book. A nice view of the Satyug Scripture that helps in sound understanding of the present Kalyug.

Excellent guide for non-experts

Having struggled off and on to understand the philosophy of Kant for at least thirty years, I have much appreciated this very helpful book. However, I think it is of value only if you use it as an auxiliary aid in reading the "Critique of Pure Reason." It is by no means a substitute for reading the original. To mention just a few merits of the book: Most importantly, I think, it points up those spots where Kant is confusing or contradicts himself. For example, he introduces a bewildering array of terms (some of which he made up, while others are ordinary words to which he attaches special meanings) but then he often ignores his own definitions and uses terms interchangeably or one term when he should be using another. This book will alert the reader to many of these danger spots, thus eliminating some frustrating roadblocks. The book also frankly faces the fact that some of Kant is incurably obscure, but offers good counsel on what he probably meant. The book is probably written for students, which is by no means my category, but is good for anyone interested in Kant. I also recommend "A Kant Dictionary" (H. Caygill) and "The Cambridge Companion to Kant's Critique of Pure Reason," but I don't think they are as helpful as this one. Thanks to this book I have finally succeeded in reading a good portion of Kant and (I think) even understood a large part of it. Amazing!

Layman's guide to complicated science

For those just starting in the basics of nerve cell research, this book provides a great tutorial in the art of nerve cell culture and in vitro assays. I found it especially helpful for 32-P labeling. A must have for any scientist, whether a beginner or an expert in neuronal cell lines. Also great for trouble shooting.

Excellent!

I decided to download a sample before I started reading it. This book was recommended to me based on my previous reads. I'll admit this starts off slow, however, it does eventually start to pick up. I love the author's writing style. I have been diving into more and more poetry lately. I read this in about 2 days. It flows really nicely. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who needs a nice distraction, quick and easy read & some encouraging words from time to time! Hope you enjoy it!

Absolutely loved The Chaos of Longing

Purchased this poetry collection after seeing recommendations after I read (and loved) a few other collections. Absolutely loved The Chaos of Longing, devoured it in one sitting. It is raw and beautiful and not like many other poetry collections I've read. The added eroticism is what sets these poems apart from others. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loved Milk and Honey and The Princess Saves Herself in This One.
