I thought this was a great light hearted read to remind me that I'm not the only forever-single lady in the world trying to navigate lonely Friday nights, awkward family events, weird dates and an ocean of nosey or self absorbed couples, in the world, and a nice reminder to live life to the fullest even if you're not quite where you'd like to be.

Delightful and witty

All by myself is a delightful and witty read. I read it on a flight back to London and struggled to refrain from laughing out loud. Christel cleverly navigates us through some of the dilemmas faced while living single life and leaves us reassuringly knowing that we're not alone!

I absolutely loved this book. It actually describes my life to a T. From the travelling alone, navigating online dating, to turning up at weddings with no plus one. Full of humour and a great perspective I would definitely recommend this to all the single ladies out there.
