Great inspiration and insight for anyone who willing to learn foreign languages

As a bi-lingual myself, it was a big journey to learn a foreign language - my native is Korean and learned English as a second. But I have enjoyed the journey along not only fluency of the language I can build up but also learn different cultures and thinking processes. I truly believe learning or speaking a different language is not about knowing grammar or vocabulary but understand and familiarise their thought and culture. The author seems to fully understand this and apply into his learning process. His approach to reaching fluency in any language should be aware by anyone who is thinking or about to learn a foreign language because I totally agree that it often fails if your effort is focused into a wrong direction. Thank you for motivational and inspirational guidance.

Great starting point for new language learners

I'm really glad i stumbled across this guide. I was able to read the guide in just under half a day, and it contains some great tips and examples for fast tracking new language skills.
The authors writing style is quite entertaining and humorous which is a nice change from the mostly academic language books out there. It makes for an interesting read and one that has really inspired me to finally have a go at learning to speak another language.
I'd recommend this to anyone as a great starting point for learning a new language.

Useful for beginning learners.

As a foreign language teacher, i decided to read this to find tips for my students. i got some great ideas for them. for those who are already a year or so into learning a language, some of these tips might seem obvious. still, it is worth a read if you‘re thinking about learning a new language.
